BE THERE – Boston Pride Parade – Saturday June 12 Noon
Join us on Saturday June 12!

We will work hard and fight against discrimination of all kinds NOW and FOREVER not only during an election cycle.

Let’s demonstrate our enthusiastic public support by attending the Boston Lesbian and Gay Pride Parade and Festival. For more info: visit bostonpride.org

Pride Day Parade begins at Noon.

The route begins on Tremont Street (at Rutland and Clarendon Streets) and snakes down Berkeley, Boylston, Charles, Beacon, Tremont, and Cambridge Streets before ending at City Hall Plaza.

History of Boston Pride Day:

In 1970, “Boston Pride began with a few dozen lesbians and gay men marching as part of a Vietnam War protest. Four decades later, having served as a crucible for the immense changes that have taken place since the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City, it is one of the nations largest Pride celebrations.” (Courtesy of History Project – Bay Windows Official Guide to Boston Pride www.bostonpride.org)

We must continue to work together, to stay together!

See you on Saturday at the start of the parade; 11:00am on Tremont Street.
