Mildred Jefferson just compared passage of HCR to 9/11. Got standing O from 2/3 of arena.

Christy Mihos followed up by kvetching about "PatrickCare," which you oldtimers may recall was actually passed under Romney.

It's the bill that would make it a crime to harass transgender individuals (or anyone else) for using a restroom that matches their presenting gender. The right-wing nutjobs think that this is going to allow males to come into female restrooms to rape women, because apparently the only reason this doesn't happen right now is because rapists don't want to run the risk of disobeying restroom signage during the commission of their felony.
