Boston Restaurant Talk reports Mangia Neopolitan Pizza is looking to move into the space recently vacated by Parlour Pizza, which slightly less recently replaced the Upper Crust franchise on Centre Street.
What could make Mangia different from its predecessors in the space is that, in addition to pizza, it also serves frozen yogurt.

The Parlour had pizza and ice cream. Pizza and fro-yo isn't much of a change.

The West Roxbury Upper Crust was a franchise (owned by a local guy, I think) and had nothing to do with the employment practices of the original Upper Crust - which also screwed the franchise owners in some Groupon deal.

Comella's down the street sells amazing large cheese pizzas for only $5. You had to pay the same amount for one slice at the Upper Crust. I wonder why they ran out of business...
