South End gets first light show

Greg Cook took in the first Illuminus show in SoWa last night, moving about the illuminated old power station on Harrison Avenue and other nearby buildings.

Poor glaucoma suffers can't enjoy the show
as much while Mass takes its time opening medical pot shops.

Saw at least two blind persons walking/being guided around the festival last night. Wonder what the experience of it was like for them.
The American Glaucoma Society
The American Glaucoma Society was published an editorial in the February issue of the Journal of Glaucoma, warning against marijuana use to treat glaucoma. In New York the State Association of Ophthalmology opposed allowing treatment by smoking pot because pressure is only lowered for a short time; although Whoppi Goldberg was critical of the doctors position and rallied support for allowing pot. Eventually the law passed allowing smoking for glaucoma.
I think it is ironic that as far as Ebola quarantine (see earlier topic) we should follow the science; but wait, as far as pot is concerned well maybe not.
