That photo isn't from the 5k, it's from the Inivitational Mile also held yesteday. Morgan Uceny, who trains locally, is in the lead here and eventually won. That's Viola Lagat, sister of multiple US record-holding Bernard Lagat, to her right and Sara Hall, wife of top US marathoner Ryan Hall, trailing them, among others. This is one of the top road miles in the country and always has some of the world's best middle distance runners. There are also 1k and mile races for local middle and high schoolers respectively.
