Citizen complaint of the day: Dead trees make children sad

Dead tree in East Boston makes children weep

A concerned citizen implores the city to do something about the ant-infested dead tree in front of 739 Bennington St. in East Boston before one of these adorable tots bursts into tears or the tree falls on a car or something.

Kids learn very young that tears will get them what they want.

If I cry the city will fix problems?!?

I'm not sure this works in practice, though. I know a lot of people who shed tears over the lack of snow removal and parking enforcement last winter and it didn't seem to do squat.

That photo is definitely not outside 73 Bennington street in Eastie or anywhere near there , there is no green grass around 73 bennington street the grounds around there is scattered with Lottery tickets, coffee cups and smoke buds instead of grass, citizens connect has it it completely wrong! Please make a correction.

I wish I could find reporters who know how to type!

You're correct: The address is actually 739 Bennington St., which is definitely at the leafy end of Bennington, and which is the address that was given on Citizens Connect Bos:311. The missing digit has been added and the staff has been warned to be more careful. Again.
