Police hunt for Charles Floyd's killers

Police are asking for help from the public to find the people who fatally stabbed Charles Floyd, then dumped his body out of a car on Shetland Street Monday night.
Floyd, 28, was known to his friends as Ceaz and HD Eazy.
Anybody with information can contact homicide detectives at 617-343-4470 or the anonymous tip line by calling 800-494-TIPS or texting TIP to CRIME (27463).

If you knew him and want to remember him, please do - with my condolences.
If you want to interject statements based on absolutely no facts about what his death says about him, however, be aware I'll be deleting those.
Those kinds of people you are
Those kinds of people you are referring to are part of the problem. A very real problem, that affects very real people, and claims very real lives. Someone is dead, and they were murdered, and that is a problem. I don't know the victim, and I may never really know about the victim, that doesn't change the fact that they are gone, worse they were taken in an act of violence, and those close to them will forever be affected.

I also don't know anything about this guy, but it's almost certain that he and his murderer(s) knew each other. Which likely also means that there are people who know about this and are keeping quiet about it.
Hopefully someone will be "brave" enough to leave an anonymous tip on the hotline to bring the killer(s) to justice.

I had known Charles, he was a very talented young man, personality was wonderful..the two things he loved deeply in this world was his music and his children...family, he will truly be missed :( condolences to his family.

My little brother was not a thug he was a very talented artist who was always with his children at work or in the studio working on his music. He was a father, son, brother, uncle, a friend who kept you smiling and did not deserve this at all if anyone knows anything please speak up

To think someone did that to him. I knew Eazy all too well spent a lot of time at my house with my fam. So humble and easy going just like his nickname. Only a selfish cruel human being would do something like this and they deserve whatever they get. RIP Eazy I'll miss you at my Lil cook outs :(

Ceaz aka HD_Eazy was one of my best friends... Its so crazy how someone can end his life like that... He wasnt a gang banger or someone who got over on people... He was a great person... He can always make you laugh and my boy def. could dress his ass off... He had all the talent in the world when it came to his music... It's so crazy that I'll never hear a new song from him or see his face at any of our social events.... CHARLES FLOYD not my blood brother but def. a man I would consider my brother... The time is coming close for
The time is coming close for Ceaz Floyd's Funeral services. Taking away from his loved ones by an act of violence we are left behind to give him a proper Home going Service. A wonderful and talented father, artist , son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him.
However, we need assistance in laying him to rest.
Any help will be greatly appreciated by his family.

My brother Charles
Charles was a very loving person. I helped raise him along with my father plus I had two little ones of my own so they were raised more like brothers than uncle and nephews. I was strict with all of them but Charles knew how to make me laugh so hard by just being silly and his goofy smile. Everyone said that they knew we were related cause we look alike and he would just hug me and say that's my big sis and she don't play. My only wish is for the people who are responsible or anyone who knows what happened to come foward, not for me but for his son and daughter. They deserve to have closure just like the rest of us. I miss you so much and I wish I could have protected you more! I love you my little brother now and forever!!
