Spilled milk not worth crying over, but spilled soap bubbles, now that's a lawsuit
A New York man is suing the Massachusetts manufacturer of "no spill" bubble buckets because, he says, he bought one and it spilled.
In a lawsuit filed this week in US District Court in Boston, Jonathan Huzarsky of Old Westbury, NY, says he paid several dollars extra for a Paw Patrol No-Spill Bubblin’ Bucket, made by Little Kids, Inc. of Seekonk, so that his young son could happily make bubbles without making a mess. Instead, Huzarsky's lawyers write:
Upon use by his child, Plaintiff noticed that the Bubblin’ Bucket easily and readily spilled.
Imagine his shock! Huzarsky says the spill is worth at least $5 million for himself and all the other disappointed parents in New York and Massachusetts - and his lawyers - on the grounds of breach of warranty, misrepresentation and violation of consumer-protection laws in the two states - and in other states.

I bet when those bubbles
I bet when those bubbles spilt his eyes lit up so big once the idea of a lawsuit came into his narrow mind.
Obviously, this man has never heard
of Fudd's First Law of Opposition
Little kids are amazingly adept at demonstrating this law
His complaint seems valid, as
His complaint seems valid, as right in the product description it states: "The unique, patented design prevents messy bubble spills - tip it upside down, knock it over, drop it - it's no-spill!"
So complain to
the state's consumer protection agency and have THEM deal with it. Or better still, publicize the c@^p out of this incident on social media - which would probably get the company to change the design of the bucket WAY WAY faster than this
extortion attemptlawsuit will. But no, let's file another frivilous lawsuit because we believe this incident deserves an UNJUSTIFIED CA$$H PAYMENT from the company. And why, because OMG - the bubbles SPILLED out of the container - even though nothing or nobody got harmed.
Just one more example of how pathetic our society has become.
easier to see something that says "no spill"
and buy it with the intention of making it spill so you can sue. You must be from Canada, welcome to 'MERICA!
We have met the regulator, and it is us.
If the consumer protection agencies were doing their job, this kind of lawsuit wouldn't be necessary. I don't see what people's objection is to this kind of lawsuit.. it strikes me as a win-win:
