Water main break floods South Boston streets

WHDH reports several streets flooded when the main gave way this morning at West Broadway and D Street. Stanley Staco reports the break, around 5 a.m., caused a large sinkhole.

Hm. BWSC is replacing pipes from 1st St to Summer on D; probably a coincidence.

between C and D Streets as of 9pm. A police officer on scene said work should be finished and the road re-opened by morning.
