What worries me is that no one is keeping tabs on the turkeys right now. What the Hell could they be planning under the cover of multiple blizzards?
Don't have turkeys...

... the turkey line is on the other side of Watertown Square; we just have coyotes. I am optimistic that they TLF can't make it this far due to our predator population.
The sparrows, catbirds, and cardinals are having a fine old time hereabouts. Hiding in the hollies, getting fed by us and our neighbors, and not getting et by hawks.
I haven't seen the rabbit tracks this year, but the rabbits were around in December, so I expect they'll turn up soon.
Cooper's hawk, perhaps. Cool

The tail looks kind of square.
In either case, those sparrows, cardinals, etc. are in trouble.
It's a Cooper's

Tail shape is often a poor field mark because it varies so much with position and feather wear. A better clue is that the streaking on the breast becomes narrow and indistinct as it reached the belly. Sharp-shinned would have dense streaking all the way down.
Adorable!
