The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded at 2:55 a.m. to 126 Armandine St. for what became a two-alarm fire.
The department reports the fire displaced ten residents. One firefighter was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
The fire caused an estimated $300,000 in damage; the cause is under investigation.

Are fire cause investigations

Are fire cause investigations ever made public? I know sometimes major ones are, like 298 Beacon horrible trajedy. I've tried Googling fire inestigation results for fires in my neighborhood like Dot and I can"t find anything.

And I suspect if you contact the public-information officer at BFD, you could get a copy of the report of a particular fire, but, no, they're not online somewhere (ditto for licensing decisions).
