Motorcyclist killed in apparent hit-run crash in Dorchester

Boston Police report they are looking for the motorist who collided with a motorcyclist on Bowdoin Street early Sunday, then drove off.

Police say officers found a motorcyclist with severe injuries around 1:20 a.m. on Bowdoin near Geneva Avenue. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators assigned to the BPD’s Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision Team are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and believe a motor vehicle or motor vehicles may have been in the area at time of the accident.
