A Red Line train heading inbound breathed its last at Harvard Square at the height of rush hour, causing 30-minute delays. The carcass has finally been hauled away, but the MBTA reports there are still residual delays of 10 to 15 minutes.

The Governor must wake up and wonder which bad dreams will make his day miserable, Troopergate, the department of motor vehicles or the MBTA. I guess he was to busy to ride the new silver line in Chelsea for the grand opening either that or his aides were afraid to ride a bus with the people.
He sleeps easy.

Apparently he's still the most popular governor in the country so I don't really think he has nightmares about the T. If the last 4 years of disastrous service have not hurt him, one more red line delay sure won't.
Agreed

Every successful leader always has flaws. The T is Baker's big flaw, but nobody cares

It used to be one of the most, if not the most efficient line on the MBTA, but it's sure deteriorated beyond belief.
Having said that, I have to fault the people in charge for not doing the necessary maintenance on the T and fixing problems while they were small and relatively easy to fix, thus allowing it to deteriorate to this point.
