Our own Conglomerate on the Channel to sell, spin off more pieces

Kieran Murphy, the head of GE's health-care services unit, sent the memo to employees at 5:55 a.m.: GE will be spinning off GE Healthcare as its own company and will sell its stake in an oil-services concern. The new $20-billion health-care company, which makes a variety of diagnostic and drug-delivery products for hospitals around the world, will morph into an independent concern over 12 to 18 months.

GE now gets to concentrate on renewable energy, power and aviation products.

We need to get Shirley Leung on this right away. More tax credits for GE!!! These geniuses just made their share price go up 5% overnight. We need to get the Globe to write an article about how these wonderful rich white people are bringing value to Boston and we need to support that with even bigger tax breaks so other companies know we mean business!

And thanks to the trickle on, I mean, trickle down, theory soon the lower income minorities in the city will be doing fantastic!

Ayanna Pressley explained the economics of it to me at one of our get togethers. That's why we can get rid of ICE and afford more tax credits that will support more immigrants.

Just checking.

Ambien is denying it causes racist statements. I'm just checking to see if something else might be on the streets that is causing some loony and somewhat racist responses out there.

Explain how anything in the comment you replied to is racist.

Even looking through the lens of fragile white male syndrome, I ain't seeing it.

See - "Wonderful Rich White People" "Low Income Minorities".

Where I come from, we call that racist stereotyping.

After getting knocked off the Dow Jones Industrial Average and being replaced by Walgreen's it's selling off and splitting up pieces to remain solvent.

At least they get a helipad.

The helipad idea's been dead for awhile now.

Once it morphs into it's own company can it take the jobs elsewhere since it's no longer GE?

Yeah, totally worth the tax breaks. :$
