Red trees on West Roxbury Parkway

There are three trees on West Roxbury Parkway on the West Roxbury side between Belgrade Avenue and Bellevue Hill that were brilliantly orange-red today.

I’ve got a Trompenburg (Japanese maple) in my back yard in Roxbury and it’s in its full glory right now, a brilliant red. Stunning! Still plenty to see around Boston. I love this time of year.

My Japanese maple is a blazing red color, it’s so beautiful in the sun, and then every year it loses all its leaves in the span of a few hours. So enjoy them while you can!

That's a great feature. I'd love to be able to rake once, instead of over and over again because more leaves fall as soon as I finish.

Drove around Newton and Waltham for errands yesterday, really enjoyed the sun and the trees. Aren't you glad you don't live in some sterile place like St. Petersburgh?
