In Cambridge, Mike Roberts pondered that old NWS advice to "don't drown; turn around" on a street with a suddenly appropriate name:

I was in Newtonville en route to the shopping district, turned off of Washington onto Harvard, and the water in the intersection of Harvard and Newtonville was over the curb. 'Way over the curb.
Did a 3-pointer and headed back to Washington. No Way José.
