Fire on Humboldt Avenue in Roxbury displaces seven

Firefighters at Humboldt Avenue fire

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to 168 Humboldt Ave. in Roxbury at 6:20 a.m. on Sunday for what became a two-alarm fire that burned through the roof and displaced seven people.

The department reports no injuries and estimated damage at $500,000 from the fire, which began at, and was contained to, the rear of the 2 1/2-story building.
