A man was shot repeatedly on Seaver Street at Humboldt Avenue shortly before 10:45 p.m. The homicide unit was called in due to the severity of the victim's injuries.

WBZ reports on the incident at 235 Humboldt Ave.

Victim identified as Joshua Smith, 29, of Milton.

Boston Police report a man who was shot at Seaver Street and Humboldt Avenue was also run over, around 3 a.m.

The man was declared dead at the scene.
