Bellying up to the milkweed bar

Mary Ellen spotted this monarch butterfly in Millennium Park in West Roxbury this morning, bulking up on some milkweed.

Also, "weeds" like milkweed and dandelions are great for local bees and butterflies- less grass, more pollinator plants!

Meanwhile here in Milton my neighbors nuke their yards to make them look like putting greens.
