Winthrop state rep candidate accused of sexual misconduct, Maura Healey, Joe Kennedy pull endorsements

WGBH reports on the allegations against Tino Capobianco, which emerged after the state attorney general and the former congressman endorsed him last week in his bid for Bob DeLeo's seat. Capobianco says it's all lies.

I was willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, but when that many people all call him out for unrelated but similar incidents I have to conclude they are true. Yes it could be that he was just immature and has gotten his act together, but I don't think you can brush that many allegations under the rug and call them old news.

Its too bad these came out so late. My mail-in ballot went out on Monday this week and I'd be regretful if Tino made it on. Fortunately, the guy relied on all his endorsements and I had trouble finding any info on what he actually stood for (besides being heavily endorsed) so he didn't get my vote.
