The Banana Lounge is so quintessentially MIT. Kudos to the students who first came up with this idea and who have fought for the return to 24/7 status. I wish it had been there back in my day.
I mean the Banana Lounge is definitely one of those quirky weird things that also serves a legit purpose. Potassium is great if you are running around all day and just need to relax. I am very curious how the banana system works, not even joking. MIT kids are wicked smart, have they found a way to ensure bananas are always available at peak quality? Do they make bread with the browning ones? Do they have exotic bananas or just the standard cavendish? So much was left unanswered in this report.
I would totally live in a building with a Banana Lounge.

I want to know more about nano construction.
Is MIT using Nanobots to remodel student spaces and when are they going to release this groundbreaking technology to the construction industry?
