Brighton to get all-day cereal joint

Boston Restaurant Talk reports Day & Night Cereal Bar, a Mid-Atlantic chain that specializes in selling cereal and shakes, um, frappes, covered in cereal, plans to open in Brighton this summer. Yes, of course, you'll be able to get your cereal covered in whipped cream or gummy bears (or both, YOLO). Somewhat surprisingly, though, they're opening on Tremont Street in Oak Square rather than, oh, Cleveland Circle or Comm. Ave.

It takes me one minute to exit my apartment and sit at the bar at Buff's, which I do frequently, so I'm fortunate. It's a nice area in which to live(Newton/Watertown/Brighton), so the triple murder in Nonantum(about a mile west of my place)was a shock.

I went to one in Lisbon a few years ago, it was in a much busier part of town with lots of night life. But I'd still give this a visit!
