First thing that popped in my head, but a quick glance on street view reveals a bunch of differing features. Quite a few homes in random spots JP that look like they used to be neighborhood general stores... this one could be tough.

Thanks for playing, folks! This is 492-494 Swett Street in 1898. You can see the original image with a good zoom feature here: https://cityofboston.access.preservica.com/uncategorized/IO_f61c7d91-6ea...
Where's that??

Swett Street is now Southampton Street
according to that link. If the street numbering is the same now, 492 Southampton Street is near the Andrew Square end, not near Mass. and Cass.
Great link
Thank you.
it was where Mass and Cass is today

Horse Barn and Ice Cream
Enjoy the ice cream, but I’d suggest avoiding the fudge ripple.
