Boston Police report arresting Gianni Johnson, 24, of Dorchester for his role in shootings on Ames Way in Dorchester that sent five people, including an 11-year-old, to the hospital on Sept. 17.

In addition to the 11-year-old, a 14-year-old was also shot, police say, adding that one of them remains in the hospital in critical condition.

Dorchester Municipal Court Judge Judge Joseph Griffin ordered Johnson held in lieu of $1 million bail at his arraignment today on five counts of assault to murder, illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, illegal possession of a large-capacity feeding device, illegal possession of a machine gun and discharging a firearm within 500 fee of a building, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.

Police say they have obtained a warrant for Micah Ennis, 24, of South Boston, on the same charges. Ennis is described Black, about 6'2" and 290 lbs.
