Two-alarm fire on P Street in South Boston injures one firefighter

Greater Boston Radio reports a two-alarm fire broke out in the three-story building at 141 P St., home to apartments and Jimmy's Konvenient, shortly before 2:30 p.m.

The Boston Fire Department reports one firefighter suffered a minor injury and that four residents were displaced by the fire, which damaged the second and third floors and shot through the roof.

The department estimated damage at $500,000.
