We are not lying: Red Line trains keep dying

At 7:51 a.m., the MBTA announced delays of up to 15 minutes on the Red Line due to a train that diverted to the River Styx near Broadway.

Or as one rider fumed:

I’m on the train. Already an hour from Braintree. Worst service ever. Thought you were fixing it!

A half hour later, Bri reported:

my conductor just told me there’s another disabled train ahead of us lmao at downtown crossing what the fuck y’all.

sitting for 8 minutes with no announcements and then she finally wants to tell us there’s a disabled train ahead.

At 9:12 a.m., the MBTA reported:

Red Line Braintree Branch: Delays of about 15 minutes southbound after a disabled Train was removed from service at JFK/UMass.

All this comes after delays of up to 20 minutes around 10 p.m. yesterday "due to multiple cars of a Train with a door problem at Harvard."
