The Ford Flivver is a single-seat aircraft introduced by Henry Ford as the "Model T of the Air".

And the origin of its name was the old slang nickname for the Model T car.

...is a Model A, if I'm not mistaken.

Looks like a Model A to me also, although I'm not expert.

But they'll never replace the cheap and ubiquitous street car.

…I learned to drive in one of these! (A much more beat up version, tho). My father figured that if I could manage a car with a very picky clutch, no brakes to speak of, and windshield wipers that slowed down as you accelerated or went uphill, I could probably drive anything—and it didn’t hurt that its max speed was 43mph and everyone saw me coming ;) But no one expected to see a 17 year old girl at the wheel!
