…I learned to drive in one of these! (A much more beat up version, tho). My father figured that if I could manage a car with a very picky clutch, no brakes to speak of, and windshield wipers that slowed down as you accelerated or went uphill, I could probably drive anything—and it didn’t hurt that its max speed was 43mph and everyone saw me coming ;) But no one expected to see a 17 year old girl at the wheel!
