Have any baseball gloves or cleats you no longer need?

Randolph Abraham, athletic director at Brighton High School is asking for some help in rebuilding the school baseball program:
We are rebuilding the program stronger than ever and have some incredible young men who are in need of cleats and gloves. If anyone wants to donate gloves and cleats you no longer use, please bring them to the high school and ask for Coach Abraham. Size 9, 9 1/2, 10. Or anything.

This feels like the wrong approach
New Balance is literally down the street. There's no way they can't source enough brand new cleats and gloves for 1 high school team and write off the donation. It wouldn't likely even cost them $5000 in their own inventory.
There's also the Nike outlet in Arsenal that has racks of used-once cleats that could probably clear some shelf space with some donations.
I feel like getting random people to hand over used gear is just not the most efficient approach here.
You're entitiled to your opinion but
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, says otherwise.
Used gloves
Are the best gloves.
I used my brother's outgrown ones and they were already broken in.
But they will be a tougher find than the cleats, no doubt.
Baseball Team
They are trying. Contact them and give them some advice. You have some great ideas.
How are we spending
Over $1B on BPS but can’t fund athletes. Further proof, BPS is an employment agency for Bostons political machine and kids are always put last.
As A One Time Summer Student
Of Brighton HS for learning Freshman French poorly during the regular allotted time, donations will flow from my house.
