JFK's favorite sloop returns to the shores of Dorchester Bay

Paul Nutting Jr. watched today as a crew from the Crosby Yacht Yard in Osterville unpacked the Victura at the JFK Presidential Library and Museum today for its annual summer stay there.
The 25-foot Wianno Senior sloop, which JFK's parents bought as a 15th-birthday present for him, became the future president's favorite sailboat - in which he won races and taught wife Jackie how to sail, according to a history of the boat by the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum.
The sloop overwinters at the Crosby boatyard.

Does the bikeway down the Neponset River make it all the way to the JFK Library area, or should I just take the T if the Red Line stations are open this weekend?
Do they have any kind of ceremony when they launch Victoria? Or do they just plunk it in the water?

What you see is what you get.
The Kennedy family would rather you worship from afar.
Also, you can bike along Freeport Street and then bike on the sidewalk along Morrissey between the gas tank and the library. It's ok. I used to do it all the time when I was 13-16.
Some adults can't handle the sidewalk which is barely used though and need their safe space.
If you wait about another year you can do it within the all growns up padding / safe space corridor that the state is building from Tenean to the tank.

I was thinking metaphorically about its return to Dorchester Bay, since the library overlooks the bay, but, yeah, the headline could be read literally, and that's wrong since it doesn't actually go in the water.
I'm disappointed.

If it did go in the water...
...it may sink.
If it hasn't been in the water in awhile, the wood has shrunk and there would be lots of leaks. It would have to be re-introduced to the water patiently.
