A sudden hankering for Tex-Mex downtown

Roving UHub photographer Meghan Perdue snapped the line yesterday evening to get into Fajitas & 'Ritas - as it readies to close forever on Saturday after 35 years serving up, well, fajitas and margaritas.

West Street
I wonder when the last time West Street saw a crowd like that? Once that place closes, it'll be nothing but tumbleweeds.
Back Deck across the street
Back Deck across the street gets crowds like that on the weekends. Don't count out the Brattle Book Shop and the Liturgical Apostolate Center either (Neither are known for crowds but they've been there longer than Fajitas and 'Ritas). West Street is anything but the home of tumbling tumbleweeds.
Yeah, it's no Bromfield Street
Daughter and friend headed downtown yesterday to give Fajitas & 'Ritas one last go, took a look at the line, decided they didn't want to melt on West Street while waiting to get in and so went to the Back Deck instead.
