I don't really care that he paid for sex (let's just regulate and legalize that industry, please?) but it's still going to make for some awkward council meetings. "Do anything fun this weekend? Wait never mind, don't tell me."
(Shameful if he cheated on his partner in the process, of course.)
We should care about human trafficking

The women were being coerced, controlled, and shuffled around between cities. That is why they are not being named or charged.
We should also care about unsafe sex - which is exactly what these people were paying for. Regulated sex trade would require protection - and people like these would just pay more for captive women in order to get it.

Didn't hear about that part

If true, that's bad! Didn't see that in this article or the older ones it links to. Do you have a source handy?
On the one hand, that's *why* I'm saying it should be a regulated industry. But good point that Toner probably did not ask a lot of due diligence questions. -.-

I met him at a conference when he was MTA president, and I never liked his vibe. He made me so uncomfortable. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but this really confirms my intuition about him. So gross and an embarrassment to educators in our state.

You knew but didn't warn us. Girl, don't ever put your finger on "it". That's what he wants, honey. Dudes a freak. I heard he requested that he get four jelly beans put in his Urethra Franklin, if you know what I'm saying.

I can't keep track of all the Cambridge city councilors, but Venn Diagrams come to the rescue. Paul Toner liked dense housing in 2021 -- cyclists, not so much.
This is from 2021; I couldn't find one more recent. If you've got one, educate us!
