for letting us know about these BEFORE they happen as well as reporting after the fact. Your work is well-appreciated.

information ahead of time is so helpful for those of us who want to participate but want nothing to do with social media.

though I had earlier received an email from Our Revolution about a rally at 3 pm at the JFK Federal Building. I don't know if that has been superseded by this one or is in addition to it.
There is definitely something

There is definitely something amid with Musk’s wiring. Glee is not something an emotionally and morally intact person should be expressing publicly over mass firings. If someone believes the downsizing is crucial, existentially, or otherwise the actions must be accompanied by mournful sobriety and solemn reservation.
Also, there’s laws. Reductions should happen in a deliberative, lawful manner not in a blitzkrieg.
Good word choice

The word "blitzkrieg" has occurred to me more than once over the past month. Clearly it's their preferred tactic.

Musk sounds like a dangerous, disgusting individual.

I’ve had to downsize staff and it is the absolute worst part of my job. It sucks. You are right, there is something fundamentally wrong with someone getting joy from it. It’s psychopathic.
I admit that for a number of reasons, protesting isn't my thing.

I admit that participating in protests, for a number of reasons, has never been my cup of tea, but isn't 4:30 in the afternoon, when it's about to get dark outside, awfully late to start? Just wondering.

More people can attend if they don't have to skip out of work too early.

Mostly after the work day, convenient especially for those participants heading for mass transit, and timed to lead the 5 PM news.

There are a lot of state workers in the area who will likely join in before hopping a train home.
Are local small rallies still relevant?

I believe they are and are more relevant than mass rallies.
