Brookline Police report officers journeyed into Roslindale yesterday to arrest a man they say went around their town protesting the Musk administration by putting anti-Elon stickers on at least six Teslas on Sunday.
Harrison Grant Randall, 39, was charged with six counts of defacing property for the sieg-heiling Musk images he put on windshields, police say, adding a Brookline District Court judge this morning reduced the $2,500 bail they had set to $400. He is due back in court on May 7, police say.
After putting up a Facebook post Tuesday seeking help capturing the sticker scoundrel - who told one owner he had a free-speech right to place a sticker on his car - police say:
One particular Instagram follower called us and reported seeing this very person on Chestnut Hill Ave. Our officers responded and were able to stop and identify the man.
Detectives then collected enough evidence for an arrest warrant, and picked Randall up in Roslindale around 7 p.m. yesterday, police say.
His arrest came a couple days after somebody set a bank of Telsa chargers on fire in Littleton.
Innocent, etc.

Is there anything wrong with putting flyers on windshields? Aside from the risk of littering if they blow away, I guess.
For example, this flyer: (Courtesy of Bruce Hahne's site).

It's not always easy to remove a sticker from a car, and it could cause expensive paint damage. Encountering a justifiably angry car owner might have resulted in violence rather than a social media posting. Not a good idea, no matter how frustrated anyone may feel right now.

The Brookline police care more about rich people getting a sticker on their car they do about the drivers that are causing injuries and damage every day by running reds, using a phone while driving, speeding. But this guy was arrested? I was hit by a car on my bike and the Brookline police took 45 min to come and then said since there was no damage to the car that I shouldnt have called. Not even a ticket for reckless driving (witness stated they saw the driver swerve into the bike lane and hit me and driver didnt refute).
The police only care about the rich and protecting their property and safety.

I'm not denying that destroying someone else's property is bad, I just think it's funny that this was the example you picked. Scraping a sticker off the stainless steel panel could do very expensive cosmetic damage, of course - which is why sensible cars have paint and other protective coatings.
EDIT: I originally thought this was targeted specifically at Cybertrucks, not all Teslas. That's my bad.

Mr. Randall is probably getting a good chuckle out of his criminal charges knowing he will never serve time in the House of Corrections. What he doesn't realize that under the above law the police will request that his driver's license be suspended for a period of time banishing him from Brookline.
Probably not an issue

I took a look at https://malegislature.gov/laws/generallaws/partiv/titlei/chapter266/sect... . While the title of the section mentions a license suspension, the body does not. What’s going on here — is that the penalty or not?

it is not only allowable to bully Cybertruck drivers, it is a public good. Get in front of them on the highway and slow down. Box them in so they can't drive like the idiots that they are. They're desperate for your respect no matter how much they try to hide it, so make sure they know that they haven't got it.
Give them a thumbs up when you see them driving by or waiting at a light, and then rotate into a middle finger just as they're thinking that they've found a friend. Point and laugh. It won't stop them from being Nazis - in fact, it'll drive them to greater heights - but they'll get worse no matter what you do, so you might as well let them know now, before the swastikas come out.
They've self-selected, and Musk butt-lickers are not a protected class. Bully them. One day they'll try to kill you no matter what you do, so while we wait for the conflict to start, at least have a little fun.

Not to mention, vilification of groups of people based on your own assumptions about their attitudes and motives. Please, take a pause and listen to yourself.

Tiananmen Square, synonymous with the literal liquidation of a protest. The event where thousands of free thinking Chinese conveniently co-localized in Tiananmen Square to protest the sundry evils of the communist government and were bottled up and liquidated by said government.
It is very appropriate.

It is very appropriate. Entirely apropos. Maybe not is you look at it in the isolated context of the unlawful and stupid mass firing of government workers, but in the context of what Bannon et al. are doing to “put a steak through the heart” of the EU by making America history’s premiere TURNCOAT by rehabilitating the EVIL EMPIRE with the inevitable attendant future massacres and suppressions across easter Europe, Asia and in the Pacific.

you have to start calling the bad guys the bad guys. We've arguably already tolerated the destruction of the United States as a concept, and may have already tolerated our way into fascism. It sounds like you're picking tiny things to call out as a disgrace because you don't want to look at the real danger. I get it, but... it's sad.\
EDIT: I originally thought that the vandalism was targeted at Cybertrucks specifically and not all Teslas. Cybertruck owners are special, but I don't extend the same vitriol to all Tesla drivers, especially those who bought on before Musk showed all his cards.
