His first act as Treasurer, hiring ex-state Rep Barbara L'Italien to a $100K/year job, after she lost her seat in November.

But hey, on the bright side, it will take her a full three years to qualify for the 80% pension!

We live in the Louisiana of the North East.

If she has about 28-29 years of state service, you are right on target. You need 32 to get 80%. Was she a rep for that long?
