Boston Police report two people leaving the Ashmont T stop around 2:30 p.m. yesterday were followed and then robbed by three men a few blocks away, one of whom said he had a gun.
Officers responding to the incident spotted a guy matching one of the descriptions running down Norfolk Street not long after. When he spotted them, police say, he ran into an auto-body shop, where the officers nabbed him in the rear. Police say they recovered the victims' BlackBerry and iPod Touch. Police add they found a replica gun lying in the street near the T stop.
Patrick Medley, 20, was charged with armed robbery.
Innocent, etc.
