Why not a bowling alley in Rozzie Square?

With Jax closing, speculation mounts as to just what could go into the large space. Around the corner at Pazzo Books, Tom Nealon reports he talked to somebody at the building's management company (not the guy from JP with the empty storefronts):
The fellow I talked to (who was quite pleasant) mentioned that because of the make-up of the space, sub-dividing would make it look like a bowling alley; which begs the question, why not a bowling alley? How great would that be? Throw a couple pool tables in there ... I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about it.
Roslindale used to have a bowling alley, but it closed up (along with much of the rest of the square) in the 1970s. But maybe a giant Ethiopian restaurant would do nicely, as well.
The Bulletin reports Jax will actually be open for Christmas, in case you have anybody on your list who needs $1.99 Capri pants. The Bulletin also interviewed shoppers:
.... Another elderly lady, who lives with her sister in West Roxbury and did not want her name used, complained bitterly that everything was closing.
"There's nothing left for poor people. Just look at everything closing up in West Roxbury, and what's moving in? Restaurants. Who wants to go to restaurants?" ...
Amazing but true: There is now not a single place on Centre Street to buy clothing, unless you count the custom T-shirt place next to where the Tai Ho fire was. Roslindale, at least, has the uniform store.

How about a dry cleaner? There isn't a dry cleaner within walking distance of the square (or a good one within driving distance). Did someone miss the throngs of suit-clad people getting off the commuter rail every day?
I heard that the "management" company of JAX is the same one that owns all the rest of the vacant store fronts in that row, which remain vacant because the management demands so much in rent. Anyone heard different?

That's what moved into Pet Cabaret's old location on the corner of Washington and Kittredge... a dry-cleaning facility.

Busy Bee, just before Metropolitan Avenue, and J.D., just past it, both on the right as you head toward Dedham.

I'm new to the area so I don't know where Pet Cabaret used to be (or is now) but I think the place on the corner of Washington & Kittredge is a laundromat and doesn't do dry cleaning. Kane's seems to be a good place, but it would be nice to have a place right by the train for morning/evening drop off/pick-up. Kane's II?

I may rarely sit down, but I never work out, so...
It would be SOOOOOOOOOOO cool to have a gym in Rozzie Square. Gassing to the overcrowded West Roxbury Y (puhlease -- why on earth do they call it the West Roxbury/Roslindale Y when it is IN WEST ROXBURY?) is a major drag. Many of us clamored for one at Ashmont... though true enough, I'll be pleased to purchase paper and posterboard there.
Gym
That is a fantastic idea! BSC where are you? If it can't go in the JAX there has to be somewhere in the Square. Roslindale Main Street people are you listening? The MBTA power substation is probably big enough but there aren't many gyms who own rather than rent (much less any who would rehab that place).
