Man seriously injured in Roslindale shooting

A man was shot in the area of Cohasset and Albano streets in Roslindale around 11:20 p.m. on Friday.

Police officers responding to 911 calls about gunfire found four shell casings in the rear yard of a Washington Street home that backs up on a Cohasset Street yard near Albano Street, but no victim - because the victim managed to get to Faulkner Hospital before they arrived.

The homicide unit was called in after doctors told officers the victim's injuries were life threatening.
