Ah, that's what happened. My train arrived in Davis right after this. We walked up the stopped escalator and saw the woman in a medical chair wrapped in a blanket. Scene was pretty calm. Ambulance was parked outside the College Ave entrance.
One less pair of Uggs on the streets.

I once saw a woman whose pant leg was caught at the top of one of the Davis Square platform-to-lobby escalators. Either she or a passerby had hit the Emergency STOP button, but she couldn’t move because her clothing was still stuck in the top step. After waiting a few minutes for help that didn’t arrive, we finally decided that I should just yank it out. It ripped, but she was able to continue on her way afterwards without injury.
