Doesn't handle disappointment well

Brookline Police report that when a man exiting the Brookline Village Starbucks Wednesday morning declined to give a panhandler money:
[T]he suspect kicked over a newspaper stand which subsequently fell and struck the victims vehicle.
The panhandler was subsequently arrested.
They also report on a traffic incident at Parkman and St. Paul streets:
Victim reports that while she was taking a left turn a man crossing the street deliberately and repeatedly smashed his briefcase against the hood of her car damaging it. The suspect is described as an older man around 65 years of age, 6'2, wearing glasses and a gray suit.
Somehow, I'm betting that if they find that man, he's going to have a dramatically different version of the story.

It has something to do with the fact that there are pedestrian crosswalks on all four sides of that intersection.
I'd imagine the fellow in the grey suit would say she tried to run him down in a crosswalk, and he stood his ground.

I love how Boston gives the green at the same time as giving pedestrians the walk sign. I've almost been run over quite a few times by drivers not yielding during a turn, thinking they got the right of way. I've also let them know real nice how I feel about their lack of attention...
By the way, it's 2007, couldn't we upgrade the lights in this city to work in conjunction to alleviate traffic snarls? I think that's part of the problem with drivers trying to plow through right turns when pedestrians have the right of way.
On the other hand
The pedestrians at Babcock and Harvard, in Brookline, constantly walk against the no walk sign when the green left turn arrow is active on Harvard Street. Sooner or later a passenger is going to be hit. When they have the left turn green arrow, most drivers assume the path is clear.
