Boycott Sponsors of The Apprentice on NBC until Donald Trump is fired: Obama is American

Donald Trump’s racist birther accusations have been debunked, again, the White House has released the president’s “long form” birth certificate.

As the president said, “We do not have time for this kind of silliness.” Thank you, Mr. President, for being, once again, the adult in this national conversation.

As Think Progress reports, “acclaimed historian and author Douglas Brinkley pinned the blame for the reemergence of birtherism on NBC Entertainment for giving real estate mogul Donald Trump a primetime platform.”

Brinkley also calls for what seems to be an appropriate response, to boycott NBC and the sponsors of Celebrity Apprentice until The Donald is fired. Giving a “primetime platform” (and paying him at the same time) to Trump is unacceptable.

"Show me your papers!"

Major Blackard, then just 19 years old, dug into his trousers in search of his wallet. He padded his jacket, but could not find his billfold.

"Sir, I done left my wallet..." Blackard said. Before he could finish his sentence, the young man was posted against the brick wall, cuffed and taken to the St. Louis city jail. Unable to prove his identity, he would spend the next 21 days in a cramped, musty cell. That's where his older brother Matt found him, beaten and bloodied. Matt returned with Major's employer later that day, wallet and identification card in hand, to post bond.

The year was 1899. Major Blackard was my great, great grandfather.

Trump is a racist and a self centered pig, who is a publicity hungry and an individual without any moral compass. He only cares about his profits and would walk over dead bodies to get to his.

It is time that we educate America and not support people who file bankruptcy multiple times and let us tax payers bail him out, while he continues to live a perverse life style.

It is time to reward the right people with publicity and show them that being successful comes from good behavior and not from ignorance.

You guys are part of the problem bc you obviously support this kind of behavior in the media.

FIRE HIM!

everytime a white person does not like it agree <sic> with Obama

Hardly. When someone disagrees with President Obama's stance on healthcare, or tax reform, or any other legitmate political subject, you will not find charges of "racist" being thrown around by the vast majority of his supporters.

But the official legal document proving Obama's Hawaiian birth has been available to the public for years, along with massive amounts of substantiating evidence from secondary sources (including the GOP governor from that state) and some people were still claiming that there's "doubt" because the non-legally binding, first-draft internal hospital long form hadn't been copied and distributed.

Add to that the fact that during the '08 election, there was nearly zero talk about the well-documented fact that McCain was born in a Panamanian hospital that was not on sovereign US soil, and only became retroactively categorized as a 'native-born' American because of an act of Congress years later.

So yeah, I think there's some justification in thinking that there might be some racial bias in play with regards to this ongoing birther crap.

If it isn't racist, then what is it about President Obama that makes him such a special case that the legal and only document that Hawaii releases to confirm birth, the document that is sufficient for any other Hawaiian born person to prove his citizenship, was insufficient for him? This document was confirmed by the republican Hawaiian governor and director of health and has been available online since 2008. John McCain was born in Panama, and there was a bill in Congress to specifically address that he was a US citizen and eligible to run for President. There have been other presidents with immigrant parents. ("Only one president was the son of two immigrant parents: Andrew Jackson. Five presidents ([Thomas] Jefferson, James Buchanan, Chester Arthur, Woodrow Wilson, Herbert Hoover) had just one immigrant parent each." http://www.wikinfo.org/index.php/President_of_the_...). And yet, no other president or candidate has ever had to provide exceptional evidence of his "American-ness".

So, what is it about President Obama that puts him in a category of one?
