I loved Manny as much as A-Rod irritated me, but I doubt we'll ever read about A-Rod beating the crap out of his wife/girlfriend... It's really disappointing news.

All puns/snide commentary aside, I hope he doesn't skate on this. Domestic violence deserves more than a fine and probation. I applaud his wife for calling the police, I know that many victims of DV are unable or unwilling, for a myriad of reasons, to contact law enforcement.

I hope she takes him for all he's worth in court.
