Got that glass look on the water- building silhouette. Nice.
A nice shot, indeed...

and I believe taken from one of those new high-rise dorms right off the Turnpike.
We thought that we lived in luxury at the top of Comm. Ave. in the mid to late 90s, because we "won" a lottery and got into a dorm that did not have shared bathrooms and had a full-sized refigerator and stove ("this is awesome! no more microfridge!")
Could you imagine a bunch of 18-22 year olds living in a place with a view like this? In a weird (and probably unjustifiable)way, I kind of feel bad for these kids - because it will be down-down-down from this for almost all of them for at least a decade, if not more.
Live it up while you can, kids...and remember to enjoy the upcoming season for the second best hockey team on Comm. Ave.
Was Comm. Ave. extended?

Last I checked, it ends at the Public Garden, not the Bank North Garden.

Or maybe you're being sarcastic. I don't know. I'm pre-coffee right now. Carry on.

I was referring to BC.
However, now that you mention it, this is the real hockey title town, isn't it?
Yeah-

- some of those BU dorms do have great views. I thought I was living large when I got a "mod" senior year at BC (rows of pre-fab houses- that all coveted on the lower main campus.) Not sure many are left. They demolished my row for a new multi story dorm after my graduation- and then sent us a bill for "room damages". Suffice it to say I have never given BC a penny and never will.
Yeah!

This is so cool! I love it.
The sunrise, along with the black, black silhouettes of the city make for such an eerie, but cool combination!
