Man shot to death inside Dorchester three decker

The homicide unit responded to 7 Samoset St., where a man was shot around 8 p.m.
The Dorchester Reporter reports the victim died. He is Dorchester's 26th murder victim this year.

To many guns in Dodge City
Dot Ave is becoming a dangerous road to navigate as the young guns who hang out at Ashmont are battling with the gangstas around Wainwright Park. The young men of Dot are dying and our city officials seem to care more about the festival of fools at Dewey square then the safety of the residents of Dorchester.
Self-interest
Occupy Wall Street represents a challenge to the impunity of the rich backers of Menino and friends. They won't be ponying up cash for the politicos if they are forced to stop abusing the Federal Reserve system and bilking the American taxpayer of billions.
On the other hand, a few thugs with guns in Dot don't pose any threat to the mayor.

Boston Police report he was Victor Brookens, 54.
