Waterfront residents seek new identity

The Herald reports residents of Harbor Towers and Rowes Wharf are trying to rename their stretch of the waterfront as the Wharf District.

Ed. Boston English question: If they succeed, would kids born there be called Wharf Rats?

those god awful architectural twin abortions that mar the waterfront and the cool place with the big arch?

Wharf district....the entire fucking waterfront is a "wharf district." Are they trying to distinguish themselves from the "slummy" waterfront parts downtown...

Harbor Towers already has a wall around it and has many times illegally blocked the harborwalk access. The people there want a gated community but can't figure out that they belong somewhere in Weston or Wellesley and not downtown Boston.
