Like the author, John Carrol, I too spend hours every day. dancing on the moral razor's edge, over this kind of thing.

What;s next, self-aggrandizing, headline-grabbing behavior from Ernie Boch Junior? Will it never end!

I don't have a big problem with the ad. But I wish Roger and company would get back to the business of serving good food that Boston can be proud of. Last meal at his waterfront tourist trap was total garbage. Seriously, you have to really try to screw up baked scrod, but they managed on my most recent— and last, for a while— visit. Locals know to where to get the best fish: at the No Name next door or, better yet, the Drydock Cafe. But it sucks that our flagship fish eatery has fallen so far in quality.

If you are in the Seaport area, try Yankee Lobster.
Seating gets tight but everything is really good.
If you drink beer, the Harpoon is outstanding due to it's location.

But if you're willing be both executioner and consumer, then skip over to the New Deal Fish Market on Cambridge Street, in East Cambridge. Wonderful hardshells at fair prices, and the best fish in metro Boston.
