Interfaith service Thursday; president to attend
By adamg on Tue, 04/16/2013 - 5:27pm
Gov. Patrick said today an interfaith prayer service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, with President Obama in attendance.
Mayor Menino, meanwhile, said the city has set up a fund to help victims. Boston public-safety unions have set up their own fund to help victims and to post a reward for the capture of whoever was responsible.

That was my second reply - I must have screwed up my first.
I tried to post that the Archdiocese and Cathedral Parish websites (and the state website) don't say anything yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they're waiting for sign-off from Secret Service to release details - POTUS planning to be present, after all.
Thanks for the help.
I went to the Cathedral site as well and saw nothing. I'd like to go, so I'm trying to get a feel for when it makes sense to show up...
Following from
Lauren Landy, BostInno: The public has been invited to attend Thursday’s service. Doors will open at 8 a.m., and tickets will be released on a first come, first serve basis to those in line.
Patrick’s office has warned guests to be prepared for “airport-like security,” advising in a press release that those attending should plan accordingly for lines and delays. No bags, sharp objects, liquids or signs should be brought to the scene, and public transportation is “highly encouraged,” as there is limited parking and road service around the cathedral.

Only additional point they had was no line would be permitted to form before 8 AM.
