Wicked Local Cambridge reports on the race between Jay Livingstone and Josh Dawson to replace current state Rep. Marty Walz.

The primary is next Tuesday.

This morning the Boston Courant just announced their endorsement for Jay Livingstone.

I'm seriously considering voting against Livingstone due to his suffocating and harassing campaign. Mail, every day. They call, repeatedly. It feels slimy, like he's buying himself a seat through sheer name saturation. I mean, it's the Suffolk 8th. I'm sure if he doesn't win, the other guy will save the shade trees and exterminate the building shadows just as effectively.

Adam-- West End, too. The 8th Suffolk includes the West End, most of Beacon Hill, and all of the Back Bay in Boston and Cambridge Port in Cambridge.
