Those damn college kids ruining the neighborhood!

Its not the college kids far from that

What, that's two blocks from the NeU police department's headquarters? Delightful.

Not only is the NeU police station nearby, the Boston Police headquarters is about 1,000ft away too! The shooters have no regard for the safety of others, which is already evident, and I'm happy the shooter didn't hit someone else.

The Boston Police, and the Roxbury YMCA are attempting summer cookouts in an attempt to help prevent any more violence from happening:

Hope it works.

I take classes at Northeastern and am none too excited about the area's recent violence.

The shooters have no regard for the safety of others,

Really?

.

The violent are none too excited about the area's recent Northeastern students either.

the NEU police? this is like watching the other guys through comments. what are they going to do?

Detain criminals/deter criminal activity.....until Boston PD shows up and tries to make them feel like crap for doing the job.

Yikes. That small section of Tremont Street is pretty scary, isn't that where they found the guy beat with a baseball bat last summer? My brother rented an apartment on a street there for a summer about 7 years ago and it was pretty terrifying.

There's a bunch of BHA projects in the area, I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often thanks to our wonderful revolving door court system.
