Form the Broadway Bridge you couldn't even see the downtown buildings this morning....

When the tall buildings disappear, I like to pretend that I am walking around 100 years ago in some areas of the city.

Except that my New Balance shoes are a slightly more modern design.

Even better - on a day (or night) like this walk to the end of long wharf. Can't see across the harbor, and can't even see the city buildings behind you.

I'm surprised nobody in my office used that as a reason to not come to work today.

Where are all da buildins

Caught in Southie had a newbie tweeting about "random foghorns" that she hears every so often in South Boston. I know she is from Ohio, but come on, are they that stupid in the Midwest.

...I once met a high school girl (the cousin of a school friend) who lived in Southern Ohio (around Columbus) -- and she didn't even know there was a "Great Lake" as the northern border of her own state.

Standing at Farragut Road, I heard this Yuppie chick giving directions on her cell phone. She tells her friend to continue driving down Broadway until she gets to the pond!

Thank you for posting!
